We are probably not competing for the same budget
Teachmint’s own storefront today sells interactive panels and classroom hardware; ours is a school’s administrative system. If your decision this term is about what goes on the classroom wall, nothing on this page should sway you — buy the board. If your decision is about how admissions, fees, attendance and report cards get done, that is the comparison worth having, and it is the one their own pages suggest has moved on.
Ask which modules are still supported before you sign
Their legacy School ERP page lists nine solutions and is still live. Their fee-management page says that module is no longer available. We are deliberately not drawing a wider conclusion from that — we found no vendor statement discontinuing the ERP, and a competitor blog claiming otherwise is not evidence, so we are not repeating it. What we are saying is narrower and checkable: if you are evaluating them for administration, get a written list of which of those nine modules are currently supported, and for how long. That is a fair question to ask any vendor, us included.
A free classroom tier and a free office are different offers
Their free plan covers the connected classroom — whiteboard, simulations, the teacher app, EduAI. Ours covers the office: student and staff records, the admissions pipeline, fee receipts and the day book, attendance, the timetable, exams, board report cards, the library and the visitor register, with no student cap and no expiry. Both are real and neither is a trick. They just land on different desks, and the one you need depends on which problem is costing you more this year.
